Air systems and special-gas compression from a Zhongshan manufacturer
AE's company profile dates its establishment to 2004 and identifies the business as the mainland manufacturing base invested by AE UNITED TECHNOLOGIES (ASIA PACIFIC) LIMITED. Identify the actual Zhongshan contracting and manufacturing entity on the order.
The company describes a research center, compressor production and automated testing lines, an energy-efficiency laboratory and custom-production management. Its range goes beyond general industrial air to process gas and special-duty equipment.

Make the manufacturing discussion specific
Ask how the offered model and serial identification will be connected to the agreed inspection and performance records. Define the test conditions, package input boundary and delivered configuration. A facility description and an equipment acceptance report answer different questions.
A Zhongshan science-and-technology authority list independently names the company among its 2025 high-tech enterprises. Equipment duty, destination requirements and model-specific quality documents remain separate items to establish.

Select the suffix before comparing the package

The permanent-magnet catalog separates APM, the APM-S oil-cooled-motor route and APM-2S. Keep the selected model suffix and stage/control arrangement on the technical offer.

Equal nominal motor power does not establish equal mass, package input or delivery. Obtain the selected drawing and duty sheet before sizing handling equipment or comparing energy.
APM versions and quotation inputs →Attach an operating profile
- Demand: normal and peak consumption, required pressure at the outlet and running cycle.
- Site: voltage/frequency, ambient temperature, altitude, cooling and maintenance access.
- Comparison: selected drive/control range, complete-package input and agreed performance reference conditions.
- System: receiver, drying, filters, condensate handling and final user air-quality target.

Keep the dry-screw family and physical version together
The dry oil-free page distinguishes AOF standard, AOFM and AOFML low-pressure ranges. It describes stainless-steel rotors, a labyrinth/dust-seal arrangement and PLC monitoring/protection.
Those construction details help frame inspection and maintenance questions. Select the actual model and operating point, then match treatment and documents to the process.

| Family | A entry | W entry | Outlet |
|---|---|---|---|
| AOF55A/W | 1,750 kg 2,650 × 1,550 × 2,000 mm | 1,950 kg 2,500 × 1,550 × 1,850 mm | DN65 |
| AOFM55A/W | 1,650 kg 2,650 × 1,550 × 2,000 mm | 1,850 kg 2,500 × 1,550 × 1,850 mm | DN65 |
Confirm the chosen variant's cooling/utilities and current drawing. Its pressure tables have the same unit-label issue as APM; establish pressure, delivery and reference conditions on the order datasheet. Do not substitute a low-pressure AOFML duty or another family's physical entry.
Specify quality at the air users
Oil, moisture and particles are separate requirements. Obtain applicable model-specific air-quality/test documents and agree drying, filtration, storage, drainage and distribution scope. A general Class 0 statement does not define a current certificate covering every model.

Capacity starts with the gas and the inlet condition

The official page has separate nitrogen, natural-gas and petroleum-gas parameter tabs. It also describes development of hydrogen, biogas and carbon-dioxide equipment.
Keep the gas identity, suction envelope and discharge duty on each comparison. A standard nitrogen machine is not automatically suitable for another gas mixture or hazardous area.
AET gas duties and enquiry conditions →| Nitrogen model | Inlet → discharge | Normal-volume flow | Motor / stages |
|---|---|---|---|
| AET-2.2/4-20 | 4 → 20 bar | 600 Nm³/h | 55 kW / 2 stages |
| AET-0.4/8-80 | 8 → 80 bar | 200 Nm³/h | 37 kW / 3 stages |
These are different suction conditions, not two outputs at a common inlet. Confirm whether pressure is gauge or absolute and the normal temperature/pressure basis behind Nm³/h. Do not equate it with an air-compressor m³/min value on another basis.
Other gas rows stay separate
Natural gas · AET-3.2/1-250: 1 → 250 bar, 350 Nm³/h, 90 kW, 4 stages.
Petroleum gas · AET-2.5/2-8: 2 → 8 bar, 400 Nm³/h, 22 kW, 1 stage.
These published examples do not define the selected gas composition, material/seal suitability or destination approval. Agree those with the actual engineering offer.
Build an enquiry in two layers
Define the equipment duty
For air: pressure, demand profile, quality target, site/electrical conditions and selected family. For gas: add composition, contaminants/moisture, inlet pressure and temperature range, discharge duty and normal-volume basis.
Define the delivered system
Request the actual drawing, utilities, performance/reference conditions, complete-package input and treatment/storage scope. For gas equipment, add materials, seals, protection/interlocks and applicable destination requirements.
Agree acceptance and support
Connect model/serial identification to agreed inspection and test reports. Request manuals, consumables, commissioning responsibilities and destination support. AE's China service description does not define overseas attendance time.
Send the AE family with its operating conditions
Choose the air or gas route and attach the conditions above. This gives the manufacturer a defined duty to answer.
Prepare an AE equipment enquiry →AE equipment questions
Are APM37A and APM37A-S the same 37 kW package?
The listed mass differs: 640 kg versus 800 kg, despite the same dimensions/outlet. Keep the suffix on the selected duty sheet and drawing; motor power alone does not establish identical input or delivery.
Can an AOFM55 be installed using an AOF55 layout?
Selected 55 kW dimensions/outlet match in the current table, but the family and A/W mass entries differ. Confirm the current offered arrangement, cooling connections and maintenance access rather than using a neighboring model's drawing.
Is the nitrogen 600 Nm³/h figure a capacity at atmospheric suction?
The AET-2.2/4-20 row lists 4 bar inlet and 20 bar discharge. The source does not establish gauge versus absolute pressure or normal-volume reference temperature/pressure. Put these conditions on the engineering duty sheet.
Does the standard process-gas catalog settle explosion protection?
Specify the actual gas mixture, site classification and destination requirements. Obtain the selected equipment's protection/interlock and compliance documents; catalog capability is not a universal hazardous-area approval.
