A local manufacturing operation within the BITZER group
BITZER dates its first Beijing company to 1994 and its Beijing development-area production operation to 2007. A second construction phase was completed in 2014. The local government also identified BITZER China as a wholly owned subsidiary when reporting the opening of its R&D building in September 2024.

Questions before selecting a BITZER compressor
Does 221 m³/h mean 221 kW of cooling?
No. It is swept displacement at 50 Hz for the cited ECOLINE model. Cooling output requires a refrigerant-specific performance selection at evaporating and condensing conditions.
Is every global ECOLINE or CS model made in Beijing?
The global catalogue and Beijing manufacturing presence do not establish the origin of each model. Confirm the exact unit's production origin in the quotation and delivery documentation.
Can I replace a CSH with a CSW of similar displacement?
Compare the permitted application/refrigerant envelope, motor, controls, connections and the required thermal duty. Similar displacement alone does not establish replacement compatibility.
Can I choose a CO₂ compressor from this standard ECOLINE listing?
BITZER has separate refrigerant-specific ranges. Do not treat this standard-family entry as approval for CO₂ service. Request the appropriate named model, pressure design and operating envelope for that refrigerant.
