A refrigeration screw is not an air screw with different oil. Write refrigerant, Te, Tc and capacity. kW alone is not a duty.
What belongs on the RFQ
Numbers a plant can quote
Chinese plants build open-drive and semi-hermetic refrigeration screws and complete racks. An RFQ that says “20 HP refrigeration compressor” without R404A / ammonia / CO₂ and the temperatures cannot be priced against another plant.
PED, UL-ready and refrigerant-handling papers belong on the row if the plant supplied them. We do not mark PED because the buyer is in Europe.
