What Shaangu puts on a process train

Shaanxi Blower (Xi’an Shaangu Power Co., Ltd.) is an energy-equipment OEM whose public site leads with system solutions — energy-conversion equipment, energy-infrastructure operations and industrial service — not with a workshop air package. The English listing is built from the official centrifugal-compressor introduction that a buyer can open: E-series horizontally split, EIZ/EIZT internally cooled, and EB barrel. Those three casings are the rows on this desk. Factory 8 bar permanent-magnet VSD air is a different industry.

The E series is published as a single-section, high-speed, two-bearing, horizontally split machine for air, natural gas, nitric oxide and other process gases in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy and pharmaceutical plants. The official page names thirteen frame sizes: 28, 35, 45, 56, 63, 71, 80, 90, 100, 112, 125, 140 and 160. Drive is through a gearbox from a motor, or direct from a high-speed turbine or motor. Those frame numbers are a published series, not a single nameplate we invented. Pressure ratio and efficiency stay on the process data sheet.

EIZ and EIZT are the internally cooled family for large air-separation units: single suction, multi-stage, high-speed, two-bearing, with coolers between stages. The page states a short gas path, isothermal efficiency as the design aim, inlet-guide-vane control over 75–105% of design flow, an on-line impeller water-wash, and an integrated separator with automatic drain. Fourteen frames in two kinds are named. The development note credits Shaangu’s European R&D company together with the domestic team. That is an ASU conversation. It is not a dry-screw Class 0 RFQ.

EB is the barrel (barrel-type, cylinder) casing published for recycle hydrogen and other high-pressure, toxic or flammable media in petrochemical service. The outer cylinder is integral. The inner cylinder has a horizontal joint. Rotor and inner stator can be withdrawn for overhaul without dismantling the process pipe. Eleven frames are named. Recycle-hydrogen EB28–EB125 in the buyer’s own language is exactly this family — confirm the frame on the RFQ. Do not send a food-grade oil-free screw duty to this desk.

The same official page also lists EZ (split with intercooler), ES (split with sidestreams, down to −150 °C for propylene and ethylene), ED, EG single-stage overhung, EG multi-shaft (including a PTA machine that the page says won a national science-and-technology prize), EGV vapour compressors for MVR, plus axial blast sets, LNG trains, long-distance gas-pipeline sets and expanders. They are real Shaangu products. They are not extra catalogue SKUs here.

Axial machines on the same official introduction — blast-furnace electric-drive axials, BPRT / STRT / BCSG / SHRT / BCRT energy-recovery trains, FCC main-air sets and nitric-acid four-in-one trains — are Shaangu’s other public job. They are not catalogue SKUs on this compressor desk. If the RFQ is a blast-furnace blower, write axial and the furnace volume. If it is recycle hydrogen, write EB and the loop.

The homepage contact block prints 8 Fenghui South Road, Xi’an High-tech Zone, a 400 service line and a postcode. Inspection window, FOB port and which Shaangu works builds the train stay on the quotation. Six national science-and-technology prizes, 177 provincial prizes and “more than 1,000 valid patents” are homepage counts. They are not rewritten as ISO 8573 class or ASME stamps. The plant remains the seller.

ASU air versus recycle-hydrogen barrel

  1. Will Shaangu quote a 22 kW factory PM VSD?

    That is the wrong works. The official centrifugal file is process and ASU machinery: E split, EIZ internally cooled, EB barrel. Send gas data, not a workshop photo.

  2. Is EB the same machine as E?

    No. E is a horizontally split casing. EB is a barrel (barrel-type) casing published for recycle hydrogen and other high-pressure hazardous media. Maintenance pulls rotor and inner stator without breaking the pipework.

  3. Why are EZ, ES, ED and EG missing from the catalogue rows?

    They appear on the same official introduction. This desk lists SHAANGU-E, SHAANGU-EIZ and SHAANGU-EB only. Name the extra family in prose if that is the duty.
