Shaangu describes EIZ/EIZT as single-suction, multistage, high-speed, two-bearing centrifugal equipment for large air-separation installations. Internal interstage coolers shorten the gas path; a motor via gearbox or suitable high-speed direct motor/steam-turbine drive is selected for the train. The overview refers to two kinds and fourteen models without a complete numerical duty table.
Published features include inlet guide-vane regulation, a water-washing system for impellers/cooler tubes, integrated gas/water separation and automatic discharge of condensate/wash water. The manufacturer advertises a 75–105% variable-duty range; this is not a verified surge curve or universal minimum capacity at every pressure. Request the offered model's map and actual control/operating boundaries.
The separate ASU application page lists oxygen-production scales of 10,000–150,000 Nm³/h across solutions and mentions AEZ, EIZT and EG arrangements. Oxygen output is not compressor air flow. Define main-feed-air or booster duty, process pressures and temperatures, licensor interface and design/part-load cases. Do not convert plant production scale into an EIZT rating.
Agree water chemistry and washing procedure, cooler utilities, separation/drain handling, gas quality and permissive/interlock schedule. Determine actual inlet conditioning, downstream treatment, cooling and control responsibilities. The family description does not supply model-specific cooling-water demand, voltage, driver power, dimensional or acoustic guarantees.
Obtain offered capacity/input and speed curves, anti-surge/protection strategy, package/P&ID and foundation/nozzle-load drawings, cooler/service access, instrument and wiring interfaces, manuals and acceptance tests. Confirm commissioning, consumables/spares, warranty and destination support.
