Hangyang describes this single-shaft centrifugal family for main-air service in air-separation plants. Four compression stages and three interstage cooling steps are combined with three-dimensional impellers and external composite-tube gas coolers. First-stage inlet guide vanes regulate flow; the drive can be an electric motor or steam turbine.
The stated application is air-separation units below 40,000 Nm³/h capacity. This is the plant-scale label, not a compressor inlet-air flow specification. Source installation and rotor captions also refer to air-separation unit capacities. They cannot replace the selected compressor's flow/head map, drive rating or duty-point data.
Interstage cooling is intended to bring the process closer to isothermal compression. It does not establish constant temperature through the train, a measured saving for the offered installation or a universal operating efficiency. Specify inlet-air temperature and pressure, humidity, flow reference, required delivery pressure, base/peak demand and turndown. Confirm cooling-water temperature, available flow, water quality, cooler pressure losses and site conditions.
Request the actual flow/head/efficiency and power curves, operating range, guide-vane control schedule and protective arrangements. Define the selected motor or steam-turbine interface and the auxiliaries included in package input. Obtain installed envelope, foundation loads, lifting arrangements and rotor/cooler maintenance clearances rather than relying on a family photograph.
Hangyang publishes high-speed balance and impeller overspeed equipment plus factory-test positions. Agree the model/serial-linked rotor and machine records required for this order, applicable test conditions, purchaser witness points and acceptance criteria. Also define manuals, commissioning, training, wear parts and warranty/destination support. The original full main-air machine and rotor photographs are manufacturer examples, not a configuration guarantee for every offered duty.
