SCR is the English face of Shanghai Screw Compressor, an Anest Iwata joint-venture factory in Jinshan. The desk lists three public series: PM VSD oil-injected screw, oil-free screw, and oil-free scroll. Two-stage, low-pressure and nitrogen machines exist on the factory site; they are not extra invented SKUs.

Permanent-magnet VSD is a drive story on an oil-injected airend. Class 0 is an air-quality story on an oil-free machine. Mixing them in one line item is how buyers receive a quote they cannot use. State the architecture, then bar(g), then FAD.

Class 0 and PM VSD — not interchangeable

  1. Does PM VSD mean oil-free?

    No. The PM VSD row on this desk is oil-injected screw. Oil-free screw and oil-free scroll are separate series.

  2. Why does the listing mention Class 0?

    Because SCR’s public oil-free pages state Class 0. If you need a certificate number, ask for the paper on the RFQ — we do not invent a scan.

  3. Is this the same as a generic “Shanghai compressor”?

    No. It is a named Jinshan JV works. Put SCR and the series on the PO, not a city.
