FKW organises its process piston table by frame force. Clearly aligned entries are 30, 45, 65, 100, 160, 250, 320, 500 and 800 kN, with corresponding maximum motor ceilings of 75, 250, 560, 800, 1,250, 2,700, 3,300, 3,600 and 5,600 kW. These ceilings are not absorbed-power predictions or a guaranteed capacity for an unspecified gas.
Specify gas composition and its range, inlet temperature/pressure, target pressure and reference flow at each operating case. The cylinder/stage arrangement, speed, cooling and pulsation study then determine a matched selection. Do not infer discharge pressure or throughput from the frame force or assign a merged catalogue cell to an individual frame without its selected sheet.
At quotation review, compare the offered cylinders, driver and actual gas-duty calculation. Agree lubricated versus gas-path contamination limits, materials, seals and vent recovery. Request the P&ID, package envelope, utility loads, protective controls and commissioning scope. Define performance measurement, mechanical running and inspection acceptance in the technical agreement.
