OSG explicitly presents EX as a fixed-speed direct-drive screw family. Its model tables pair exhaust volume and pressure and label motor power in kW/HP. A suffix means air-cooled and W water-cooled; larger columns combine A/W designations. Confirm the offered cooling arrangement and actual dimensional/utility drawing rather than treating both cooling versions as identical installations.

EX-22A publishes 22 kW / 30 HP and 3.7 m³/min at 0.7 MPa, 3.5 at 0.8, 3.1 at 1.0 and 2.6 at 1.3. Its envelope is 1380 × 850 × 1150 mm, mass 650 kg and outlet 1 inch. At 0.8 MPa, EX-75A/W gives 75 kW and 13.2 m³/min, 2100 × 1260 × 1600 mm, 1600 kg and a 2-inch outlet. EX-250A/W gives 250 kW and 43.8 m³/min, 3080 × 2000 × 2300 mm, 5500 kg and DN100 outlet. Higher pressure rows have different output; catalogue flow is not constant across the listed pressure selections.

The two source tables do not give the same residual-oil reference. The 22–90 kW group prints approximately 3 ppm, while the 110–250 kW group prints approximately 5 ppm. Complete sampling/test conditions are not supplied for a universal acceptance claim, and these are not oil-free mechanism ratings. Agree oil, moisture and particle limits, treatment and sampling for the actual process.

The manufacturer lists maximum inlet-air temperature 45°C and 380 V / 3-phase / 50 Hz supply. For air cooling, obtain ventilation and heat rejection; for water cooling, agree water inlet temperature, quality, flow, pressure and interfaces. Noise columns lack complete measurement conditions and are not guaranteed room sound levels. Motor rating is not measured package input or lifetime energy cost.

OSG's service area separates oil, separator element, cooler and periodic maintenance guidance. Historical mineral-oil and separator service-hour examples are not a model-specific current maintenance schedule. Request the actual offered lubricant, oil/filter/separator intervals, parts, qualified service access, supplied manual and destination support terms.

For fixed-speed plant air, provide base/peak demand and operating cycle, pressure losses, receiver volume and load/unload or plant-sequencing concept. Obtain paired-duty tests, package-input and part-load data, control/electrical drawings, dryer/filter/drain scope and installation clearances. Agree warranty, commissioning, manuals and acceptance documentation. The original EX image is a complete family view; it does not prove the cooling suffix, motor rating or options of the quoted machine.
