Sonyo announced a 50 HP H-platform scroll compressor for medium-temperature refrigeration in September 2026. Its announcement gives a swept displacement above 800 cm³ per revolution and says the evaporating-temperature range extends to −30°C. These figures belong to this announced H-platform example; they do not define an installed cooling capacity or the full operating map. The accompanying image is the manufacturer's product photograph from that announcement.
The announcement describes vibration-damping scroll plates, silencing chambers and a discharge soundproof cover, together with multi-bypass and dual check valves intended to improve liquid tolerance. It also describes a double-layer shell with gas and oil channels. These are design features, not independent test claims. The 50 HP class must not be entered as an electrical-consumption value.
