McQuay's Suzhou centrifugal refrigeration range includes distinct single/two-stage, magnetic-bearing, direct-drive and multi-stage designs. A government report dated 9 September 2026 and the official announcement published 30 September identify the WTCV3000 compressor launch at the Suzhou works on 7 September. They describe 10 kV high-speed direct impeller drive and a maximum cooling-duty claim of 3500 RT.
That launch maximum is not motor output, package input, air flow or a selected operating point. The announcement does not provide a full refrigerant/temperature performance map, exact absorbed power or complete order configuration. Confirm availability, refrigerant, rated conditions, electrical/drive boundary, auxiliaries and actual origin in the quotation.
The separate WTCV complete-chiller page lists a family cooling range of 1760–3306 kW with R134a and two-stage direct-drive construction. Its system illustration and ratings must not be called a WTCV3000 compressor datasheet. Oil-bearing and magnetic-bearing arrangements also require separate selection; the plant portfolio does not make every centrifugal model oil-free.
Provide cooling/heating duty, water temperatures/flows, condenser or source conditions, seasonal load profile, ambient and supply characteristics. Obtain compressor/system maps, minimum stable load, surge-control and restart limits, actual part-load input and pump/auxiliary boundaries. Agree test and rating methods, lubrication or bearing-service requirements, refrigerant management, commissioning and destination maintenance/spares. The factory's stated 1700 RT test-platform range is a test-capability description, not proof of a 3500 RT test or a product ceiling. No ceremony photograph is presented as the selected machine.
