Shengu's axial-compressor catalogue identifies the MA construction as single-shaft and multistage. It uses a horizontally split combined casing and adjustable stator blades. This is a distinct selection route from the company's MCL/BCL centrifugal constructions and its balanced-opposed process reciprocating equipment.
The adjustable-stator feature describes the machine's aerodynamic control arrangement. It does not establish a universal flow range, discharge pressure, driver power or guaranteed efficiency.
