Shengu centrifugal process compressors: MCL, BCL and related constructions from Shengu Group / Shenyang Blower Works Group
Shengu's current centrifugal range distinguishes several compressor constructions. MCL is single-shaft multistage with a horizontally split casing; BCL is single-shaft multistage with a vertically split casing; PCL uses a single-side vertically split casing. MCO is a single-shaft multistage isothermal construction with horizontal casing split. VK/SVK use an integrally geared multishaft multistage arrangement with different speeds and interstage cooling. SV is single-stage overhung, while VCL is described for gas storage and pipeline duties.
The public prospectus describes centrifugal equipment principally for large energy and chemical applications, including refining, petrochemicals, gas transport and gas separation. The illustration shows the issuer's centrifugal equipment; it is not a model-specific performance chart or proof of the package offered for a particular process.
For selection, supply gas composition, suction pressure and temperature, required discharge pressure and flow with its reference basis. Include normal, minimum and maximum operating cases, driver and cooling utilities, sealing requirements and site constraints. Ask for the proposed construction, performance map, operating envelope, control/protection arrangement and inspection scope. Family letters alone do not establish flow, power, gas compatibility or surge margin.
