RefComp refrigeration compressors — SW3 screw family from Snowman Group / Fujian Snowman
RefComp's refrigeration portfolio includes semi-hermetic screw and reciprocating compressors. The SW3 screw family has two application groups: SW3H for medium- and high-temperature refrigeration and SW3L for low-temperature duties. The photo shows an SW3H example; reciprocating models have a different construction and selection basis.
The SW3 catalog states 28 models, a family displacement range of 118–700 m³/h at 2,960 rpm and a motor-power range of 30–240 HP. It lists refrigerants including R507A and R404A. These are range-wide figures, not paired ratings for one compressor; a model-specific selection requires the refrigerant and temperature conditions.
SW3 uses a 5/6 asymmetric rotor arrangement, an integrated suction filter, motor protection and stepped or continuous capacity control. The protection functions include excessive motor temperature, reverse rotation and phase loss. Refrigerant gas is used to cool the motor, and the suction and discharge stop valves can rotate through 360 degrees for installation flexibility.
The wider RefComp catalog also includes SP semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors. When requesting a replacement or new refrigeration system, state whether the requirement is SW3 screw or SP reciprocating, identify the model, and include refrigerant, evaporation and condensation temperatures, speed and part-load duty. Displacement is neither compressed-air FAD nor delivered refrigeration cooling capacity.
