SRM open-type single-stage screw refrigeration compressors from Snowman Group / Fujian Snowman
Snowman SRM open-type single-stage screw compressors are refrigeration machines with an external drive arrangement. The published range contains six series and 19 models, including SRM-12, SRM-16, SRM-20, SRM-26, SRM-34 and SRM-41 series. The photo shows an SRM-12 example.
The manufacturer gives a family displacement range of 265–10,000 m³/h at 2,960 rpm and lists refrigerants including R717, R404A and R507A. The range is not a model-by-model performance map: select the particular SRM model and refrigeration conditions before using a displacement value. These figures are not compressed-air FAD or cooling capacity.
The SRM design uses a 5+7 rotor profile and a ductile-iron body with a listed 2.8 MPa working-pressure figure. Capacity control extends from 10% to full load, and the catalog describes adjustable built-in volume ratio, an integrated oil circuit and silicon-carbide shaft-seal surfaces. Working-pressure capability should not be confused with a quoted refrigeration duty.
For cold storage or industrial refrigeration, specify the model, refrigerant, evaporating and condensing conditions, rotation speed, drive, capacity-control method and lubrication system. If a packaged unit is required, include the system controls and cooling requirements rather than quoting only the bare-compressor family.
