Xinlei's magnetic-levitation centrifugal compressor is a distinct industrial air-compressor family using five-degree-of-freedom magnetic bearings and a high-speed permanent-magnet synchronous motor. The current product page lists 110–370 kW power and 0.15–0.4 MPa pressure, equivalent to 1.5–4 bar. These are separate family ranges; the page does not provide a paired flow map or prove that every power option operates across the full pressure span.

The manufacturer describes a design without a speed-increasing gearbox or a lubrication-oil system. That design description helps distinguish it from an oil-injected screw compressor, but a purchase specification still needs the complete package's air-quality requirement and supporting test documentation. No site-wide purity, certification or energy-saving guarantee follows from the family name.

This machine should not be confused with Xinlei's XLCB air-bearing turbo blower, magnetic-levitation vacuum pumps, or refrigeration centrifugal compressors. An industrial buyer must first establish pressure and air demand. Where the process pressure is within the published range, ask for a named compressor and its flow-versus-pressure selection at the actual inlet temperature, altitude and site cooling conditions. A general kilowatt range cannot establish suitability.

Load variation matters for a centrifugal selection. Request the operating map, minimum stable flow, control/turndown method, anti-surge protection, start/stop sequence and any bypass requirements. Confirm how the package behaves at minimum load, after a demand change and during a power interruption. Ask the supplier to state what the magnetic-bearing control and cooling systems require at the site.

For a comparable RFQ, supply the process, required discharge pressure and its measurement basis, delivered flow and reference conditions, minimum/normal/peak demand, operating hours, electrical supply, ambient temperature, humidity, altitude, cooling-water or ventilation availability and the required air quality. Ask for the exact model, electrical input at those conditions, performance map, installation drawings, commissioning scope and spare-parts plan. Use the current product-page range for initial screening; the quote must establish a paired duty point.

Published range: the current product page gives 110–370 kW and 0.15–0.4 MPa. The product brochure linked from that page and a January 2026 company news release give 110–600 kW and 0.15–0.8 MPa (1.5–8 bar). The two ranges conflict, so ask which model covers your pressure, especially above 4 bar. Units in the brochure carry the designation XLMTC, for example XLMTC200-3 and XLMTC270-2; no published table pairs these codes with flow, power and pressure.

Manufacturer design statements, without a stated test basis: a permanent-magnet synchronous motor with efficiency of at least 96% and class H insulation; a five-degree-of-freedom magnetic bearing with ten sensors sampled 10,000 times per second and rated for 10 kN radial and 20 kN thrust load; a three-dimensional impeller in AL7075 aluminium alloy; liquid plus air cooling of the machine; and protection against power loss by a combination of controlled drop-down, a UPS supply and auxiliary bearings. A PLC with touch screen monitors bearing temperature and shaft orbit and can connect to the user's master controller. The published rotor speed differs between the web page and the brochure, so ask for the selected model's figure.
