Atlas Copco's June 2023 localisation announcement identifies Wuxi production of the ZR 700–900 VSD oil-free screw range. The ZR designation is water-cooled; the separate ZT designation is air-cooled. Keep the selected series and its cooling utilities attached to the RFQ instead of treating the two arrangements as interchangeable.

The ZR 400–900 VSD brochure's 50/60 Hz table gives ZR 700 VSD FAD 56.5–119.1 m³/min at 8.6 bar(e), and ZR 900 VSD 56.5–142.7 m³/min at the same pressure. The 10.4 bar(e) versions give 52.5–107.3 and 52.5–126.0 m³/min respectively. These are pressure-qualified rows, not a promise to deliver the largest value at any pressure. Reference conditions are ISO 1217:2009 Annex C, 1 bar absolute inlet, 20°C and 0% relative humidity. Agree actual-site performance and the selected motor/package input separately.

For a continuous industrial air installation, provide cooling-water inlet temperature, available flow/pressure, water quality and the heat-rejection route. An optional heat-recovery system also needs a specified hot-water demand and supply/return conditions. Water-cooled capability does not establish those utilities at the buyer's site.

Specify particles, moisture and oil limits at the acceptance sampling point, pressure dew point, dryer/filter choice, drains, receiver and required standby capacity. Oil-free compression is only part of that quality chain. Request applicable model-specific air-quality documentation, current performance curves, installation/maintenance drawings, test conditions, commissioning ownership and destination parts/service scope. The original ZR 900 VSD image is the unchanged photograph embedded in the manufacturer's brochure, not a photograph of a buyer's completed order.
