SUNSOURCE's SY industrial presentation describes an oil-free scroll compressor family with standalone, receiver-mounted and cabinet arrangements. The XT-11 receiver reference is listed at 11 kW, 8 bar and 1.2 m³/min, with a 175 kg weight and a 1550 × 500 × 1000 mm outline. The original SY product-page illustration shows the receiver-mounted format with pumps, motor and controls above the tank.

Package variants have different installation requirements. In the same table, X-11 is the head arrangement at 11 kW, 8 bar and 1.2 m³/min, with 91 kg weight and a 1080 × 270 × 365 mm outline. XC-11 is the cabinet arrangement at the same listed operating point, with 215 kg weight and 1200 × 800 × 1000 mm outline. Keep the weight and dimensions attached to the correct variant rather than transferring them across the family.

Specify pressure at the air user, required flow and demand variation, then request the selected model's flow reference conditions and performance test method. Agree electrical supply, cooling and ventilation, starting and pressure control, service clearances and the treatment boundary. Tank storage and compressor delivery do different jobs; describe sustained demand and short peaks separately when sizing the arrangement.

For a noise-sensitive location, obtain measurement conditions for the exact offered configuration and consider installed ventilation and access requirements. A quiet or silent catalog description does not establish the noise level of a completed site. Oil-free compression also leaves moisture and particle control to the agreed treatment system.
